Review by hotel critic
Nestled just a stone's throw from the shores of Kissamos, Crystal Bay provides a charming blend of comfort and convenience that appeals to both budget-conscious travelers and those seeking a touch of luxury. The spacious rooms come equipped with essential amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, ensuring a comfortable stay. The outdoor swimming pool serves as a refreshing escape, especially when the beach isn't an option due to wind. With a lovely terrace and garden area, you can unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Balos and Elafonissi beaches. While the breakfast at the pool incurs an additional cost, it complements the cozy atmosphere perfectly. Kissamos itself is a delightful little town, offering a mix of authentic Greek tavernas and local charm without the tourist overload. The hotel staff are attentive and friendly, even going the extra mile to return a forgotten item-a commendable touch. Coming at a reasonable price for its location and amenities, Crystal Bay offers great value without sacrificing comfort. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach or venture into the surrounding natural beauty, this hotel is a wise choice for any traveler.
